TESLA

Nikola Tesla was born in Smiljian, little village belonging then to Austro-hungarian Empire at Croatia, on 28th June of 1856. Her father was an priest of the Ortodoxian Serbian church and her mother barely could read anything. He went to Gymnasium at Karlovac, in order to completing her primary school. At 1875 he went to the Graz University to study Electrical Engineering, but one nervous crisis interrupted his electrical disquisitions and came back at home. In this time, he was reading a lot of books, being capable to memorize all contents by photographic memory in his mind. He could perform inventions carefully in his memory, including all the dimensions; this is why it hadn’t draft copy about his diagrams. Likely he never got her graduation.

Immediately after leaving his studies, he was hired by the Telegraph National Company in Budapest.  During this period, he became the electrician boss of the company and invented several electrical turbine prototypes and he developed one speaker phone. In 1882 Tesla moved to Paris to work as engineer for Edison Continental Company. Meanwhile, he thought up the induction motor contrasting some devices which were using rotating magnetic field.

When Tesla came to New York in 1884 from Europe, was employed such as a humble electrical engineer by Edison Machine Works. He solved the worst troubles of the company and was invited to redesign Direct Current Generators or DC Generators.  However, the lack of dealing for the wages with the owner, the famous inventor Edison, brought him to dig trench for the company for a short period. Meanwhile he focused in his AC or Alternating Current polyphasic system.

Also funded his own company in 1887, but the investors, due to not agree to develop AC motor, they drove Tesla's company by other way.  One year later, he built the first engine induction by AC, the Tesla Coil; as well as he started working for George Westinghouse at Pittsbourg. Besides, in this time commenced to research in X-ray, creating his empty tube with only one electrode, and new devices to increase the potency generation of Roentgen’s Rays and he warned about their damages on the fur.

Whereas he inquires the most revolutionary research which was the wireless power electric transmission. Similar to the physical principle used in the arrester, he tried it through the use of a high power ultraviolet ray to produce a ionized channel in the air between the emission and reception stations. Consequently, the early success in this process would have brought incredible consequences for humanity, always thinking about the universal free use of the energy.

After 1891 became citizen of United States, and settled in New York City, at the Fifth Avenue. However, his researches in laboratory from magnetic resonance caused by vibrating, the alarm was extended among neighboring buildings. He might be arrested by the police but it not happened. At that time, he had a great group of artist as friends, such as Mark Twain or Robert Underwood Johnson and he had been influenced for the Vedic Philosophy.

Straightway he obtained the first patents of the Dynamo generating AC, used to transport energy over long distances and he was promoted as vice president of American Institute of Electrical Engineers. During this period, arose several experiments such as alternating current high frequency, circuits LC, the first radio transmitter, machines for inducing sleep or the discovery of the microwave background radiation.
AC versus DC controversy, between AC supporters captained for Tesla and the others DC for Edison, were finished in 1893 by Westinghouse financial support, when the first Hydroelectric Power Station was built in Niagara Falls. The power electricity was transported at 1896 for Tesla’s devices AC to enlightening the City of Buffalo (New York State).

After that, he was considered the founder of the electric industry and he was granted calling Tesla the unit of measurement of magnetic field in the International System of Units.

At 1899 he moves to a new laboratory of Colorado Springs, he compiled her knowledge and developed very low frequency radio waves to communicate aircrafts, ships o submarines around the world. He was a precursor of the radio astronomy too, because he used her inventions to try establishing contact with Venus or Mars.

Back in bankruptcy, her laboratory was demolished at 1900 and its contents were selling to pay liabilities. Nevertheless he continued thinking new devices.

In 1917, after the begin on the First World War, he was designing a tower that could throw a giant beam of ionized particles capable of disintegrating aircraft more far than 330 miles away.

Finally, he appeared dead alone in one hotel, in fact in extremely poorness at 1943 in the middle on the Second World War, in New York City. He was not finished yet her laser death ray, but the FBI confiscated all his documents and personal effects, to prevent them could fall into the hands of the belligerent’s powers.

Tesla failed to end those awful wars, however he got universalized the use of the electricity around the world though not without any cost, and others did business with his prodigious talent.

Really he changed the world, which slept one average of 9 hours, changing for 7 hours, night work and tendency to insomnia.

Civilization must be awake more time to be aware of this autenthic revolution created by NikolaTesla.
