I interviewed Stefani at her Apartment in Lower Est
Side of New York. She is known by her stage name Lady Gaga, is today the most
famous American singer and songwriter. , She was wearing a weird clothes, such
as short-sleeved striped wrapper similar to jailed recluse, on pair of big
purple sunglasses in her noise and high heeled brown leather boots. Her
hair is blonde, collected wit curlers and covert by a fine white net. She
was sightseeing one fashion magazine and she begun to talk me with softy child
voice. I had been feeling some nervous, but she got to take me easy when she
asked me if I was really Spanish.
Q1. How did you get your fantastic stage name?
One artistic producer named Rob Fursari said in a
concert I remember him Freddie Mercury in one song. Fortunately, he wrote in
her column the wrong name of Lady Gaga instead of Radio Gaga. Ever since
everybody in New York knows me in fact as Lady Gaga, is not it?
Q.2 Is Lady Gaga basically yourself or any other
character pretending be you?
I went properly to art school to study hardly pop
culture, knowing all about music and modern iconography pop, besides the
cultural and religious facet. However I'm my manufacturing... (I see) not as
poison or vulgarity, but as extremely religious, and make myself to be a
powerful visionary and say something that really reaches the people.
Q3. What did you try to tell in the end in your
performances or lyrics?
I may be mystic, eclectic or irreverent, in spite of
my rather boring critics, but I always want express my ideally obsession for
the love and the art, such as Mick Jagger or Andy Warhol they finally did.
Q.5 What about the song Alejandro? Did the guy really
exist in your live?
I am fairly related to Latino culture, my father came
early from Italy and I was even educated at a Catholic Nun´s School in
Manhattan. Nevertheless I had ever criticized some stupid behaviors. This
stuff, one long night in Marquee, near the Empire Estate, made me up to write
one song. I admit that Alejandro maybe could be not Mexican, he is from near to
Madrid.
Q.6 Don’t like you when frequently mass media say your
attitude is not understand? Why?
They are a veritable trouble with me, because they
always are spoken about my creative behavior as a weird personality or my past
addictions by the drugs or my problems with the law when I was arrested bared
in Chicago on the stage, but none tells of my creativity or my peculiar way of creates
music.
Q.7 What are your lately next projects?
Definitively, I shall go to set up a new enterprise in
Japan joint with Yoko Ono, whereas I continue surely defending people from the
powerful and maybe might take off to Hollywood in my private jet for make a bit
of cinema at the end.
Performed by myself
